The Guidance Department at Beech Hill College held a Career Day on Thursday 29th April for 5th Years. Students participated in a workshop on Interview Skills, Mock Interview and a Multi-cultural Theatre Workshop exploring racism – Living and Working in a Multi-Cultural Society.

They also experienced “Pathfinder live” an exciting new online career guidance programme, for young people and adults that matches interests to jobs, careers and Higher Education subjects and courses.

In the afternoon the college library was humming with students interviewing experienced workers from a broad range of career areas.

It was obvious from the engagement of the students that they found this experience very worthwhile. Students and Guidance Teachers would like to thank all those who gave up their time to make this such a success in so many ways.
